It's my Birthday Friday July 1, 2011

I can't believe I am over the mark of being half way to FORTY, that's scary!! I am thirty six and I still feel like I have a lot of growing up to do, I don't feel this old, crazy!
This is me at age four, I was such a tom boy! My best friend even was a boy who lived down the street. This is my favorite dog, she was truly my best friend, we did everything together. She was super patient, while the other dogs would jump out of the wagon while being pulled or jump out of the sled while going down super fast hills, she did not, she stayed in and enjoyed the ride and that's the kind of dog she was. She was always happy, you could tell, therefore she made me happy. I always had short hair when I was that age because rumor has it that I would cut my own hair, but I don't believe them, it was the boy who's mom baby sat me and he chased me down, they don't believe me however, but that's my story and I'm stickin' too it!

And She's Off...

You know my girl who never gets up before nine is excited to go to girls camp when she gets up at SEVEN to get ready to go! I can't believe that this will be her third year going, she's growing up so fast, where has the time flown, I am getting teary eyed as I am typing this just thinking about it. She's a wonderful girl and loves all her new friends that she has made and the Young Women leaders are amazing and we are so grateful! She is a beautiful girl both inside and out. Her daddy surprised her by signing up to go on their six mile hike for girls camp, I'm sure he will make it fun for them as he always does and he enjoying embarrassing her to death!

I think we've finally figured out his feeding!!

He's our tuff to feed boy! So I finally got smart and only give him one bottle a day (I fed him more because I was worried about his weight and he didn't eat much and he didn't like to feed himself, uggh!). But now he likes to feed himself so I put a little table in the kitchen with a little rocking chair (because he likes to be constantly moving while eating) and then I put a terry cloth apron on him and VIOLA!  He's a mess most of the time but he feeds himself and he doesn't bug me for a bottle, YAY!

Training for Lucy

We just love this dog! We signed her up for a six week puppy classes and she's got some of the commands down already without a treat! Way to go luce! She's a funny dog...I could have sworn she was talking to me the other day when a girl from another country came to the door selling educational books and lucy kept scratching at my leg as I was standing there listening to this gal give her little sales pitch, then finally I looked back at her and she shook her head "NO" as if to say don't fall for that sales pitch, Ha ha it was funny! If anything it was perfect timing, ha!
Funny dog!

Preschool for the boys....

Since this state decided to cut special ed preschool for summer, I decided to pay my girls to do preschool three days a week for at least two hours so to keep JR ahead and use to do doing something so that he doesn't digress from his progress. Here they are singing "Once there was a flower."
The girls are doing so good with them, I am so pleased and they get to earn money!

Our 15th Year Wedding Anninversary Tuesday June 28, 2011

Fifteen years! WOW, has it been that long? We were married in the Seattle temple. I remember our wedding day...Sloane was crying and I was laughing, we were quite the pair! I have an issue every time we do sealings and it started with our wedding day, for what ever reason I get the giggles and can't stop I am sure our sealer thought I was a lunatic!
It was the happiest day of my life, I have married the man of my dreams, literally! When I was twelve I would have dreams about my future married life and I could only see the back of my husbands head in the dreams and he had dark hair, so I always knew I would marry someone who had dark hair!
We love the same things but different, if that makes any sense, we agree on just about everything and I love his ideas! We have had quite the adventure and I am sure we didn't expect our life together to be this eventful be we are grateful for what life has brought us!
I love everything about being married and yes I love SEX with my husband, wahooo!! I can say that since we're old folks and have been married long enough, HUH!
Happy anniversary honey, it's been fifteen wonderful years!

A Fun Day for the Girls

Sister Hildebrandt (our bishops wife) took her granddaughter and the girls for a day of hiking, Miniature golf and swimming. Oh what fun they had!

My Favorite Temple, the IF temple!

I've never had a favorite temple except the usual SLC Temple but this one is by far my favorite! I have been in a lot of beautiful temples like the San Diego temple (beautiful), Bountiful, UT temple, Portland, OR Temple, Seattle, WA temple, Lei, HI temple, ect. I love this temple because of the old construction and all the high and I mean high entry ways inside. The high entry ways almost remind me of what I would imagine Solomon's temple would look like, I also love the fact that you go from room to room and all the beautiful paintings on the walls and carvings, yes some of the walls have carvings in it. Sloane and I got to go for the first time yesterday, the spirit was strong both Sloane and I were in awe because of how strong we both felt the spirit. When we left it was so amazing to here Sloane talk about how he felt that we are supposed to be here, and for a good reason, what reason we are not sure yet but we can't wait for this new journey! Also yesterday before we left for the temple we were trying to get ready to go and little things just were going wrong and satan was trying everything he could to keep us from going, I can't remember the last time we had that much opposition trying to go to the temple and we almost didn't go, now I know why satan was trying so hard because it was a spiritual experience!!

RUMBI

LOOK AT THOSE CUTE KIDS HOLDING THOSE SIGNS!!
I got honked at as I was trying to take a picture of them, don't they know that a mom has to take cute pictures of her kids!!
They guy that Sloane is working for now just opened up a Rumbi last weekend her in IF. He and the kids were helping out, they got a free meal and shirt out of it and it's super yummy!!
EB, had to help out too! He didn't want to be left out just because he was little.

They didn't even care that they got free food they had too much fun holding up the signs!
This is Lane Larsen and Sloane. He's the owner, really nice guy!
No,  this is not their buisness together, he's still doing graduation stuff but now he works for Lane working here in IF.

A Celebrity except he's our Bishop and neighbor, Jay Hildebrandt!!

I never thought about it much until I was at their house last night sitting on their couch talking with his wife and then he came on the news and I said, "Look theirs your husband, that's so weird!" She says it's weird for her when she's sitting next to him on the couch and he comes on TV for a commercial or something.
Super nice family, we've already adopted them!  The girls love to go over and play with all their grandchildren.

Two more celebrities in our ward...

They are in our ward. They have an amazing story!!

Hawaiian Princess went on a mini trek...

(left to right: Garett, Mikell, Sister Black <YW Pres> Aly, Jessica, Jodi, Me!!, and at bottom: Jace)
This is Hawaiian Princess typing....
This is my family from my mini trek!! It was AWESOME!! We all had handcarts and dressed as pioneers. The handcarts looked like the weighed nothing but they weight like 100 pounds (not really). We were down in Salt Lake in a little mini town that was first built there by the pioneers. It was so cool. This is how it went:
Friday: Drove on a nice comfy bus for 5 hours to SLC. Set up camp and toured the city and learned about pioneers. Then we had this really awesome dance for like an hour and a half!! Me, Jessica, and Saydee danced the WHOLE TIME. It was SO FUN. Then we had a fireside and went to our tents at about 10:30. We didn't fall asleep until 11:30. Then we all woke up at 2 in the morning because the wind was so strong that it blew a tent down a hill, the bishop's and laurel's tent collapsed, and a bunch were caving in. Ours was fine though. It was Sister Black's first time EVER camping. crazy right?
Saturday: Woke up at like 6 in the morning. They gave us the rules, and we had this really awesome spiritual experience where the pioneer people that worked there acted out parts of Joseph Smith's life. It was so cool. Then we got our families!! (above)
Our Family Name: THE INCREDIBLES but if anybody asked, we were the Parrs.
Our Family Motto: "STAND UP. SHUT UP. AND KEEP WALKING." later we changed it to: "STAND UP. SHUT UP. AND SPRINT!!"
Our Family Cheer: "SLIDING DOWN A TOOTHPICK. CLIMBING UP A CACTUS. WE CLIMB THIS TRAIL JUST FOR PRACTICE!"
Then we went 5 miles on our trek with our carts. Our wheel almost broke so we had to go back and get a new one. :( We also got to stand on the hill where Brigham Young stood and told the saints that they were settling in the SLC. We also had a testimony meeting and then we left for another 5 hour trip home. It was awesome. :)

We made it Safe and Sound!!

(this is our mess left from the move we had a bigger pile of boxes but someone stole them for their move)

We made it! We had...One big moving van....One trailer with our white van on it....One trailer behind the big Green van.....eight kids....one dog and a partridge in a pear tree, phew!! It was crazy and we unpacked as quick as possible and then we have been dealing with sickness with the littler kids and me, I guess all the stress has caught up to us!
We are renting our new home, it has six bedrooms and 36 hundred sq. feet. It's an older house with some quirks in it. The biggest quirk is the plugs, you plug something in and pray that it works, one minute it does and then one minute it doesn't and it likes to spit out the plugs, is that safe? The kitchen is the smallest room in the whole house with no pantry, that was hard finding places for things when you are use to a pantry. The toilet downstairs in the basement has issues, I had to put a note behind the toilet saying: NO POOPING in this toilet. USE ONLY SIX squares count them out! This Toilet Plugs up to easy!!
I had fun the other day cleaning up the floor, we'll just leave it at that! The basement is BLUE, yes blue carpet which is actually a nice color of blue and it's newer but then they went over board and painted the walls blue, but it works I decorated the walls with my big metal stars and it works! It doesn't have central air, which is common for these parts, it has radiant heating in the CEILING!! I have heard it in the floors but in the ceiling? But it's a warm and cozy house and we love it!! I love that it has a basement!! I love all the tall trees that our neighbors have on both sides of us, I feel nestled in a cozy spot it's great! We have had lots and I mean lots of people come over and bring plates of cookies to greet and meet us. We had our one neighbor invite us for dinner and then the other neighbor (who is a celebrity, I will get to that in a minute) invite us over for dessert and then the teenagers and kids have been ringing our door bell since we've been here, it's been fun!!

So far we love IF!!

Mema came to visit before we moved to IF

We had such a great visit! We cuddled (When I was little I use to love to cuddle with my mommy, she's the best cuddler!) She is the greatest mema to her grandchildren and the best mom anyone could ever have. Thanks for folding all my piles and piles of laundry that just kept accumulating!! I love you mom! Thanks for coming to visit!

Daddy calls her googely eyed baby because she has such big beautiful eyes. She got her first Toofy this week and we are all happy about that, she was a little miserable. We just love her!! She is cooing more and her newest thing is to make a high pich noise but she's happy when she does it, it's too cute! She loves her bouncy and her newest thing that mommy loves is that she will fall asleep in the car seat and not wake up while mommy is trying to get some errands done, she's mommies little angle!
