We are Excited!!
As we prepare for Conference we should pray about what we would like to get out of conference and Read THIS also to help prepare. I am so excited and what's more important is that through our example about being excited for Conference our kids are even excited! I always print off a packet for them to work on and I always buy M & M's for it also. We have them choose a word at every session and then they put tally marks for every time they hear that word and then they get M & M's for every tally mark, I will even give extra for those who tried hard to be reverent and listen. This year I am going to make German Scones, from a recipe that I got from a friend Go HERE and scroll down till you see the recipe, they are so yummy, esp. with wiped cream on them, YUMMY! We love to listen to every session and yes my kids do well, we make it exciting and comfortable in our home and fun! I love to here from my kids, "Wow that was a great talk!" For the Conference packets go HERE, Happy Conferencing this weekend!!

Christmas Give away ideas...
I am starting early this year because I have to start collecting...Pringles cans...and eat all the chips in them, which won't be a problem since my kids and I LOVE them! I have some formula cans that I kept from when I was collecting them for when I was the activity day leader in my last ward and we made these cute manicure sets for Mother's day. So this year I decided that baking is not what I really enjoy...not with babies, maybe when they grow up I will enjoy it more. Two years ago I bought those really big tins of Butter cookies (My FAVORITE!) at Costco and their at Sams Club too and I had the kids dip half of the cookies in white chocolate and then put sprinkles on them and then placed them on wax paper and put them in the freezer, they were a hit, everyone loved them and they were so cute too! I bought these really cute sprinkles at Target in the dollar section they have christmas ones every year, we put them in little clear celophane bags and tied them with a cute bow but they were more flimsy and I didn't like that so this year we are going to use formula cans and pringles cans for it. Wrap the cans in cute wrapping paper and then I got skinnier christmas ribbon and tie them up and it turns out cute. That will be for Home teaching families/visiting teaching and other families in the ward. I saw that they have right now at Sams Club some Gerridelli's candy chocolate dipping bars, YUMMY! My goal with this is to have my children be involved as much as possible.
For Neighbor gifts...I went to Farmington, UT and got Stephen's Hot Chocolate (MY FAVORITE) at the Stephen's wearhouse there where they package up the hot chocolate and I bought their damaged cans for only $1.50 a can when they cost at the store $4.99. I will put them in Wide mouth Mason jars and fill them up most of the way and then put marsh mellows in with it and then buy those plastic white screw on lids, I've seen them at Walmart and then we will dip as many spoons as their are in each family in chocolate and wrap them up on the side of the jar with a cute christmas ribbon. I am so excited and most importantly I am excited that the kids will get to help!
I am starting to make other gifts too but I can't say what they are, shhhhh...it's a seceret!!:) I will reveal those after Christmas! Yay!!

Ahhhhhh...Conference!

All of the talks were amazing! My favorites were Sister Allreds talk on Charity.. I am going to take her Challenge...Pray for the "Gift" of Charity, did you ever think of it that way? I know I didn't and it really was an amazing discovery for me, it really touched my heart, I loved her lists on what Charity is. This has been on my mind for quite some time now and I have thought that this area I really need to work on in my life. I am grateful for her talk!!!
My other favorite was Pres. Uchtdorf's talk, my friend who I was sitting next to whispered to me that "There will probably be a run on Forget Me Not seeds next spring!" She's probably right! That was an amazing talk, there wasn't a dry eye in the house, lots of sniffling including me:)
It gave me hope, courage to try something new, and look out side myself more and see that there are others that need uplift in this world.
I don't mean to sound impersonal by doing this but I just received a letter/package in the mail today..it took a while to get to me because it was sent to my Meridian address but thank you from Sloane for the T-Shirt it's cute, it says:Who are all these kids and Why are they calling me dad?? He says he will were it when we are all out together with all the kids:) Also thank you for the lovely letter, it meant a lot, I have been feeling a little blagh lately and that letter was timely, so thank you! You were inspired!:)
Go HERE to see the highlights of the meeting.
Our day at the park
I thought they outlawed these things? I'm glad they didn't here in Idaho..My kids love this thing!
Sissy's first time swinging, she loved it, giggled the whole time!

Jr had to give it a try since his brother did it he wanted to try, I love that he's motivated by his older brother, you don't know how many times this has helped him progress along in his life. I am grateful he has someone to model after!
My two cute babies...Oh I just love these two cuties!!

She's great and very talented, I wish I had an ounce of talent that she has, she's the one who also took our family Portraits...need I say more?
This hat is from the game Angry Birds, She's brilliant!

Watch and learn...
I don't normally do this but I am going to put it out there.....Watch his new Internet TV show called GBTV.com
It will INSPIRE you...INFORM you....Make you THINK....and yes he's also starting on MONDAY doing a show just for kids to tell them about the "REAL" history of America. He is a member of our church...The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints...Yes he's a Mormon(not a moron)...It's funny because it almost seemed like he read the proclamation to the family on air the other day but you wouldn't have caught it if you didn't know what it was.
Sloane and I are so serious about hearing the TRUTH for once that we re-arranged our living room so now our dinning table now sits where our couches were and our couches sit now in front of the computer screen in our dinning room! Yes, we are excited and want to get involved in any way we can...we know that there are some serious stuff coming down the pike and we want our family and esp. our children to know what's coming and how to prepare both spiritually ect. for it.
WE ARE NOT BURING OUR HEADS IN THE SAND!!

Happy Birthday My big Nine year old!!
She wanted an Oreo cookie cake so we made her a flower one, it was Yummy! She got a bug catcher (because she is queen of catching bugs and she's always looking for something to put her collection into) She loved it! Then she got her first Ipod shuffle and a dove bar because she is the queen of sweets too! What I love best about my sweet girl is that she is what she eats she's sweet and loving, she is great at helping out and seeing the needs of others, she gives wonderful hugs and she is such a great big sister to her younger siblings. We love you and Happy Birthday!
Mema and Papa came for a visit..
This picture doesn't even do this rainbow justice, it was amazing!
My dad helped me jam some peach jam! I had a busy week with bottling peaches! Thanks Dad!

My mom and I got to go to the temple. It was a spiritual experience! Loved going with you mom.
We had a great week with my parents here. They got here on Labor Day Monday and we went to the Goodsons for a BBQ and that was fun and then when we were walking out of their house we saw that beautiful Rainbow. Then every night we did something, Just me and my parents, it was great! Tuesday I took my parents to Rumbi's for dinner. Then on Wednesday I took my parents to this cute little Cocoa Bean Cupcake shop, and had Hot Chocolate (which is me and my parents favorite) and then had a yummy cupcake. Canned lots of peaches that week too! It was fun just hanging out with my parents!
