Thank goodness he's cute, that's what we always say because he's such a stinker! He loves to empty my purse, drawers, unfold my clothes etc. We love him!

We made Whole Wheat Cookies..
They tasted like regular cookies I used butterscotch chips (because there my favorite). I tweaked them a little to make them taste like normal cookies, my husband even couldn't tell, in the past when I would make them they would come out fluffy and they tasted like whole wheat cookies. All that I did was used my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe but added an extra egg and then with the eggs I seperated the egg whites from the yolk and whipped the whites until they were fluffy then I folded the egg whites in with the flour mix. Then added the yolk and the rest of the ingredients and Voila! Whole Wheat Cookies that my kids were begging (and I am not joking) for more! Now I am going to try this same technique with pizza dough because I would love to have whole wheat pizza too that doesn't taste like whole wheat. I am making things more with whole wheat because A. I want my kids to get more use to eating it. B. because it's healthier for us, white flour effects your thyroid, gallbladder, blood sugar levels ect. So here's to trying to eat a little healthier!:)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new diet, I mean new way of eating!!
I Like it because it's convenient I don't like the diets that make you take away any thing or make you SUFFER!! It also comes with an amazing cookbook that has PICTURES I love recipe books like that! I also love that the recipes are easy and quick to make for even your whole family, I am not a fan of making five different meals for everyone, I don't have time for that. I love that I can have dairy, whole grains, berries, oils, and different meats, they just teach you how to eat them and what with, it stays with the word of wisdom completely! I would always feel like I was missing something and low energy, I don't feel that way on this diet and you can eat on the run, which is for me because that's my life! I feel full (because they teach you to eat six small meals a day) and they teach you all these different ways to exercise your abs, I didn't know the all the different muscles in your abs before this book. Also you can have one Cheat meal a week! I ate horribly last weekend but stayed on the diet during the day and I only gained 2lbs. that's remarkable for me. It gives you also a little lesson in the book about diabetes and cancer and why people get those horrible diseases through eating habits. They have an adaption section in it too like: if you are a calorie counter, or if you are a vegetarian or if you are lactose intolerant or if you have IBS or if you are on antidepressants, Before, during and after pregnancies, ect. It's also an entertaining book to read(the original book is for men)! Thanks Jen for getting me HOOKED!!

Playgroup
I should have gotten a picture of this but I didn't because the boys were so cute playing...but we went to playgroup Yesterday and I just had EB and Danny boy. The baby stayed home with dad and JR was at preschool. We met everyone at the church bldg. for some fun, all the mom's just sat and mingled while the kids played and we were all in the gym. EB and Danny boy had so much fun, there were mostly boys there to play with so it was perfect. While we were talking one of the mom's was telling us about a gal in our ward, she went to the gym yesterday morning and then and saw this gal being whisked away by her husband and then laid down behind the desk, and she saw her body shaking and them wrapping something, so later that morning this gal that was telling the story called this other ladies dad to find out what had happened. She was lifting a 95lb. bar across her shoulders and went to put it back down on the hooks that hold it, well as she was doing that the bar slammed on her hand acting like a hammer and hammered her hand onto the hook making the hook go right through her hand!!! She had to have surgery braking many bones in her hand and they had to put pins and a metal plate in her hand, BIG OUCH. She did tell her mom that now she knows what Christ felt like except the hole in her hand was much bigger in diameter, 2 inches to be exact! They did say they did have a little spiritual experience with that, which is good that they are all looking on the bright side of things. She did say that never ever think that things could never get worse because they always can, but it's always a test and it's how we react to things in this life that makes the difference.

Fun weekend with friends
I am sad we didn't get any pictures of our fun weekend but I guess we were just havin' too much fun that we forgot! We had our friends the Guthries here and we played games (or as tradition, talked about playing games and then just keep talking) ate and talked and ate and laughed and ate some more, it was fun. We got to go out to dinner twice, once on Friday and once on Saturday. The men took the girls to see the Justin Beaber movie (they are true girls, they got so excited that they cried!) Jenny and I hit the Kidz again store for some goods and then we came home and watched with the older girls the movie You Again, that movie made me laugh! Went to the mall and just walked around checking out the sales, got my new IPhone, and while we were at the mall, I got cute skins for my phone and It's cute! The kids got along great which is so good for all these kids, we had 13 kids all together. Hope Emma is feeling better and we are praying for Mellissa and the Triplets, Let us know how it all goes! We had fun, glad you guys could come and visit, can't wait for May, WICKED!!

Making our Valentines!
These boys had so much fun! I love doing these kinds of things with the kids, we use to make goodie bags but that's getting to expensive to do so we will just stick with suckers and a pencil.
It's Sloane's birthday weekend, we just love our daddy!

Brotherly love
I just love this picture of these two! This is EB at his best, being the helpful big brother. He has been my ultra sensitive child, he can feel all the different energies that is going on in the house and he lets it effect him in many different ways. I often have to be up and happy around him because he's so sensitive, but that's one of his best qualities. He's a thinker! So, so loving.
So today I got to do something I haven't done in a while...I got to cuddle with JR, he's so busy with preschool and then when he comes home all he wants to do is play. He's been sick and had a fever today and a bad cough. He doesn't take naps very well so I made him lay down with me and we both got to take a little nap, it was great. He started to feel a little better towards the end of the night, I hope he feels better tomorrow.

I love sleeping babies
Especially when they fall asleep just anywhere! This kid wears me out, he go, go, goes until he does this. Eb boy was so kind to put a pillow under his head, he's such a thoughtful big brother.
So I have been on this crazy detox diet and I literally have felt like I am withdrawling from drugs, Sloane says I even act like it, it's amazing what toxins do to your body. Thanks honey for putting up with me this past week!

Our girl is two months old
Our precious girl is getting so big! We just love her sweet spirit in our home. She's so cute and the kids munch on her a lot. She's got pretty blue eyes with a pretty light blue ring around the pupil and long brown eyelashes but she has red hair.
It was interesting, we had a wonderful lesson on communication in relief society yesterday and the spirit was strong in testimony meeting again, it was awesome. Sister Dobbs was teaching in relief society and she did a fabulous job. She had a play phone and made it ring and then she turned around and pretended to talk on it and she says "Oh, don't mind them, there just relief society sisters." It was shocking when she did that because we weren't expecting that, but she proved her point! Then another sister shocked us all by telling us all that at the temple she works in, at the St. George Temple they had to ban all cell phones because they were having problems with people TEXTING during sessions at the temple! I was horrified to know that we are living in that kind of world were manners are just thrown out the window. Then I was reading the ensign and they have many great articles in there for February and they had one in there about communication with your child about how to help them feel safe. With this wicked world they felt the need to help us help our children with helping them feel safe and they broke it down by age groups, it was a really great article, but it did make me think.

Having fun making hommade personal pizzas!
We told the kids that if they were helpful and nice to each other than we would make pizzas and get a movie and candy for them. They were all very helpful and nice. The kids had fun making their own pizzas. We put them in Pie pans to bake and it came out great!

Look at this Bad Boy!
My friend Tiffany helped me create this 3 foot tall chore chart and I love it! It did take me three hours to complete it but it was fun because there were other ladies who were great fun to talk with there. It was funny because even though I knew all the ladies there and they were making one too, they all kept coming over to me amazed and saying "Wow, eight kids!" I will admit even I was like wow and a bit overwhelmed looking at the thing.

Happy February to all you Nerds...
I love this time of year...first my mom's birthday, then Sloane's Birthday, then Valentine's Day! Traditionally I get the kids a big hershey kiss for Valentines day and leave it in there rooms the night before Valentines day, with either a heart balloon or something. With Sloane I leave something sweet in his car on his drivers seat so when he goes to work he has something sweet to remember me by and something to snack on:) I make Lassagna for dinner. It's a fun time of year I love it, probably because I love hearts (that's what I doodle when I have the time to doodle) and I love red and pink!
Danny boy is a crazy little boy! He's been driving me crazy! He's teething and if that's not fun, let me tell you! But thankfully he makes us laugh on a regular basis and loves it too, try's to think of more funny things to do as we are already laughing, I am grateful for him, really I am.
