Camping at Teton National Park

As you can see, this little boy was in heaven, he ate dirt and constantly had rocks in his mouth and was found playing in the dirt, but he was smiling all the time, yep this is his element! He was so dirty! He was too funny!

Dash wanted so badly to carry his little baby sister, in this picture she was crying but she was happy most of the time he was holding her, such a nice big brother!

This is called Johnny's shack, it was built by an English man who came here and built this cabin in the 1830's, it's amazing all the wood work inside and he had running electricity  by this water wheel and he had running water from this water wheel also that brought water up to a pump and then into the house. The man was a genius! Then he made everything, the trim in the house and the neat log cabin pattern on the floor out of wood, all the furniture that was amazing and could sell for big bucks in the stores, but the one thing they cannot figure out is the finish on the wood, it's amazing it still looks brand new and no one can figure out what he used to finished it with.  I guess that secret died with him.

We had such a great time going camping, Going to Yellowstone and watched Sloane's favorite, Old Faithful. Then we went to the shops and got all the kids coats for the winter. Then we took the kids to Mack's inn Play house and saw the play called "Home School Musical," it was so funny! The kids loved it! We saw the Phantom of the Grand old Opera last thursday and they run these two plays all summer long every other day and different shows every year, they have been doing this for four years now and it's too fun! It's all comedy and it's great clean fun, they director is LDS and he's super funny! He dressed up as the mother in the Home School Musical and it was so funny!

We had a great weekend with the kids, we are lovin' it here, there are so many more things to do here than in Boise area with lots of great out door stuff to do that's in expensive and fun, there are lots more things that we cannot wait to do that we have planned! This is truly a hidden treasure!:)

Mesa Falls

We had a great time going to Mesa Falls. The kids Sloane and I last weekend went to Mesa Falls, Teton National Park to camp, Yellow Stone, and Island Park to see a play we had a great time. Violet enjoyed all the bugs, she's our bug/animal girl, she was in heaven with all the different colored beautiful butterflies that she was catching.

Jackson Hole Day Trip...

Sloane and I decided at the last minute (the night before to be exact!) to go for a day trip to Jackson Hole, so we went to Sams to buy all the food for the trip!

Sometimes the last minute trips are the best and it was the best!!

We left early in the Morning on Saturday for Jackson Hole. It only takes two hours from our house to get there and it's a beautiful drive. We took the way were it goes through the Palisades so that we could watch the rafters go down the river. We headed for the town of Jackson Hole.

We got this neat pack the night before we left for only $35. it was practically brand new and Danny boy loved it! We walked down to the square where they were having all kinds of booths and music ect.

Baby sissy loved her pack too, she even fell asleep, it's because she loves to be held and she's a mama's girl!

This was made all out of Nails, amazing! This is in the Ripley's Believe it or not store.

After we left the store we went down to a shirt shop and everyone got Jackson Hole T-shirts, Sloane was insistent on us getting one.

These were taken in the car while we were waiting for daddy to buy the tickets for the tram to go up the mountain. We left the town square and went ten miles to Teaton Villiage.

This is our tram that we took up the mountain! The only ones nervious to go was Sloane and the Hawaiian princess esp. going down, it was funny.

These are some of the views going up the mountian, it was beautiful and it was a little ride too, everytime we would go past a station it would rock back and forth, it made Sloane really nervious. 

These are some people repelling down this glacier it was neat to watch.

At the top they had this little diner where you could get Nutella Waffles! They were Yummy! They made a sandwhich with the waffles and put Nutella in the middle, I am going to try that at home!

Then after we got off the tram we quickly got our swim gear on and the kids had a blast playing in the splash area, it was a hot day so it was perfect! Then we had a little picnic dinner right there after the kids played while surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, it was wonderful and relaxing.

Then after we had dinner we went back down to the town of Jackson hole and watched a good old fashion "Shoot Out!" Sloane really wanted to see this so we hurried back down to see this and it was neat & LOUD! 

On our way home we stopped by this gas station that is famous for their "Square" Ice cream cones! It was a fun filled day and the kids were amazing, I mean really AMAZING!! They were all so good and went with the flow and we all had a great time! We even go lots of compliments were ever we went.
