Look who's FIFTEEN today!

I can't believe my baby girl is now fifteen!! Sniffel, Sniffel, I remember the day she was born, the nurses all said that she had the most perfect round head that they ever saw. What I love about this girl: 

~ She's full of spunk and fun!

~She's beautiful on the inside and out!

~She's very loving

~She is willing to pitch in and help out.

~She's always striving to become closer to her savior.

We are so grateful that she is in our family and we hope she has a great birthday!

We love you very much!

Our family Trip to Zions/Las Vegas

The kids did amazingly well in the car. It takes 10 hours from our house to Las Vegas but we made a detour to Zions which made the trip take 13 hours and they all did so great! Even I who is pregnant and all did good, putting your feet up on the dashboard most of the way is the key!

Lane playing games with the kids. It was great having Lane and his Brother Daniel there to break up the monotanie, they would come back in the evenings were they would play in the pool with the kids, they had a blast!

It was in the hundreds but it was so fun! We stayed at Sloane's buisness partners house, Lane Larsen, which was like a mini resort and we all had beds to sleep in except the little boys slept in sleeping bags on the floor and little sissy slept in her portacrib. We had such a relaxing time by the pool everyday and he has suround sound music blasting outside and the water fountains in the pool and the cool lights in the pool at night. The kids had fun playing football ect.  The amazing black glass pieces fire pit, that was neat! His house was amazing on the inside too! It's in a gated community on a golf course.  The pool was amazinlgy warm, one day it got up to 92 degrees, it was so nice, I could have stayed in all day long with it that warm! The only time we left the house was when we all went to Costco to get some bread ect. and I forgot that we weren't in Idaho were big families are not a big deal. So when we got there the lady at the front door checking your card was so amazed that she acted like she was going to faint with amazement, then as we were leaving there was a guy walking by counting our children out loud and another person making a comment, it was kinda fun and kinda weird, I felt like we stuck out like a soar thumb! 

Voice Recital

Violet Sang Once upon a December by the movie Anestasia. She even did a little ballet and it was so wonderful.

 Dash sang Eye of the Tiger and he did awesome! He even got the crowd going by asking how they were all doing.

 Hawaiian Princess sang Break away by Kelly Clarkston. She sounded beautiful and she was still a little sick from her soar throat earlier that week.

Shell did great! She really got the crowd going. She sang L O V E by Nate King Cole. 

This is a once in a lifetime photo of our wonderful voice lesson teacher Sister Christensen. She is so wonderful and the kids love her and have learned so much about singing. I am so proud of all of them for being so brave and going up there to sing in front of all those people! Sister Christensen is the mother of the dinamic duo Alli and Christina, the singing sisters go Here to see them!  All four of our kids made some great progress on their singing abilities this year and we are so happy about that!

Fears I need to work on......

So last night I had a dream I was in full on labor. I go natural and I am use to a midwife so it was a hard dream.  It was intense and the doctor kept putting me in all kinds of contortionist positions as if I am flexible or something. I threw up because he kept doing that. I was fine  and all in labor until it was time to push and then I started giving up and the baby almost got stuck and everyone kept telling me to keep going and I refused and didn't want to. When I woke up I realized that I had a fear and no faith in my doctor that is helping me this time, not because he's not good or anything, it's only because I have more faith in midwifes and how they helped me get through it. I have to remember that with my first five children I had a regular doctor and I had faith in him and I even chose to go natural with Violet my fourth child and it went beautifully. So I need to work on my faith and get rid of my fears before I have this baby! Man that dream got me all worked up to have this baby, now I can't wait!

Summer has officially begun!!

It's already great weather! These two love their water table, it's supposed to have sand in it too but I am not a fan of sand! They love playing with the slip n' slide hanging outside ect. I love summer! 

Kindergarten Graduation/ Last day of Preschool

 They had the cutest graduduation ceremony for the kids! This has been a great kindergarten year! I got to volunteer (when my kids weren't sick) once a week and I traded with another mom and it was so great! EB loved having me come and it was good that I got to see things that were happening in the class room. He had a great teacher too, she has been teaching for a while so she's very good!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful lady! She wants to retire every year but she loves the kids and what she does so much that she keeps on going, JR just loves her to pieces and so I told her that she couldn't retire until JR goes to kindergarten. He is doing great by the way, he has made leaps and bounds this year with speech and telling me what he wants and using his words instead of fits and he's getting himself dressed and he potty trained and he even puts on his own shoes by himself! We are so very happy at all the progress he has made that we think that he will do just fine in regular school. He also loves to read and tries reading like his older brother and so watching him will I think motivate him to learn.

I also brought lunch (Wendy's) to school for Violet because I owed her a lunch, I already had lunch at school with shell. I also bought king size candy bars and pizza for all the kids for an end of the year little party! I love hanging out and doing fun stuff with the kids!
