Our Halloween baby is 3

He's such a funny and animated boy, we just love him! He loved his new scooter and almost died waiting for his dad to put it together! He wanted Cocoa Puffs for dinner so we let him since it's his birthday! He doesn't like cake or cupcakes (a texture thing) but his favorite is Cookies, so we made him that instead. He loved being sung to many, many, many times throughout the day, he would start dancing when they all sang to him, it was cute! What I love best about JR is that he's super loving and animated at the same time, everyone Loves JR, to give you an example: today at church when going to nursery he saw his teacher from behind and ran up to her and wrapped his arms around her leg and hugged it and stuck his face in her bum at the same time, he doesn't care he just loves everyone that is sweet and nice to him! Happy Birthday, our Cute loving boy!

Halloween!

Dash was a Ninja, doesn't he look great!
Our two cute vampires....don't they look scary?
This is probably My favorite picture of these two, aren't they adorable!!
He's so sassy walking around, he didn't even mind this costume!

Mom and dad had to dress up too! I found this spiderman t-shirt at Target and just couldn't resist, he's my HERO!
The baby even dressed up too!
Here's the great banner that we put up at the Trunk or Treat tonight on our van and we put halloween balloons at each end and it looked great! Sloane uses these banners for his schools and he was about to throw this one away but then he got a great idea to paint on the back of it and the girls painted it and did a fabulous job!!

Our Mad Hatters!

These two girls had so much fun dressing up last night for the Youth activity which was put on by Jen Weaver, she loves Halloween and you can tell!! The Youth leaders did a fabulous job spending 5 hours a day setting up since Monday to have this Halloween Party in the back of the Huck's home. Hawaiian Princess and her best friend who's not a member had so much fun! I am grateful for such great Youth leaders, they Rock!

Carvin' our Punkins'

We had the best night carving our pumpkins. It was so peaceful and the kids had a great time and got along so well (I think it was mostly because Sloane was in charge) But he helped them gut them out and then they got to carve them all by themselves and I think they all did a beautiful job! Sloane made EB boy pumpkin, he had to sit right by his dad and watch everything that he did, it was too cute! We had Sloanes famous Chocolate chip cookies afterwards and our home teachers stopped by, it was just a fun night!

Our latest punishment....

This is our latest punishment, I love Violets picture it cracks me up, I had them make these funny cute faces! We are the type of parents that like to change our punishments and come up with new ones. We don't think spanking works at all and we don't believe sending them to their rooms works either and facing the wall only works up to a certain age and so as they get older we have had to get creative. We have done Oatmeal with no Sugar, a point chart system and they have both worked beautifully. This new one is so....Peaceful and relaxing:) They either have to owe me a foot message or they owe Sloane a back message, with this awesome back messager that Sloane got and they have to do this for a certain amount of time depending on how bad the behavior was. This is a peaceful punishment because no one is upstairs throwing a fit and stomping around, they are down stairs doing a good deed for their parents who has to put up with the bad behaivior, it's great and the kids actually like it because they get our full on attention and can talk about anything they want. So it works to both our benefit!

Splish, Splash, I was taken a bath...

I had to take a picture of this because, this is the first time Danny boy has ever liked and enjoyed taking a bath! Every time he takes a bath it's been hard because he throws a huge fit, he's almost one and I thought that he would have grown out of it by now but he didn't until Saturday night when I gave him a bath and at first he threw his usual fit and then like a flash he settled down and started to enjoy the water and started splashing and playing, we were all so excited because up until now it's been a struggle to give this little guy a bath.

We've got FuzziBunz!!

JR was good enough to model these bad boys for me. I just got these incredible cloth diapers! I love them, they are one size fits all, they adjust all the way from newborn to JR's size which is size six! Last night was our first test run and he pooped major in them and they amazingly held everything in, even better than the disposible ones (however note to self: don't have him lay down to take off pants when pooped, it will ooz all over, so take off pants while standing and then there won't be a problem!) JR loves them they are super soft and nice and they clean up really nice which shocked me. You can see how they work and more information on them at www.fuzzibunz.com. They have revolutionized the cloth diapers!

First day of Preschool

This is him saying Cheese! He melts my heart....he went to preschool for the first time today. The teachers all said he did really well for his first time, he wouldn't take off his coat and he couldn't get use to the transitioning of things like going from circle time to reading time, so they said that the "Things to do next Chart" helped him a lot so that he could see what was next to do. I am getting a harsh reality today on how much my little boy has disabilities and yes we all look past them at home but today seeing him out in the "Real" world gave me a glimpse of how much this will be good for him and how hard of a time he has with things.  I have been very emotional about it all, all day! I know I am a boob, but he has such a sweet spirit and we love him so much it's hard to watch them have to go through hard knock life of things.  But he loves it and is excited to go back! He gets to do lots of fun things there like, reading time, play time in and outside, singing time, PE, snack time and Craft time and so much more, it's a great program and I am thankful that there is this for him available.

They all had fun with Mema and Papa's visit

They had so much fun with Mema and Papa this weekend. Telling jokes and stories, playing games and just hanging out!

Violets baptism!

Vi
It was such a special day! She looked so beautiful, we are so happy for Violet, she is such a special girl. We gave her scriptures for her birthday and normally I get the quad for the kids but she wanted the triple combination like mommy and in blue, it was so sweet that she would touch it like it was a precious item and it was so wonderful how much she loved it!

First Hair cut and he's taking steps...

He wasn't sure what to think about this but he did well for his first hair cut! Only wiggled A LOT!! And yes he's a blondie, so now we have every color going in our family.

Doesn't his haircut look so cute? He's taking more and more steps everyday, yeah we are so happy about that!

Our day at the Punkin' Patch!

EB boy loved riding on this Cow Train, he was so excited! However, JR lasted only long enough to take the picture then started to cry and wanted out, then cried the entire time EB boy was riding on it because he was afraid for EB boys life, silly boy!!
Instead of a sandbox, it's a Corn box! Large dried up corn kernels in a large box for the kids to play with, the boys loved it and i loved it too, no mess!!

So many pumpkins they don't know which ones to pick!

Hay maze what fun!
Aren't they cute!

The bounce pillow JR loved it so much that it took twenty minutes to get him off, but EB boy didn't want to be on it, he only got on to get JR off which didn't work.
He was so tired and such a trooper!
JR trying to talk some sense into these hungry goats, they kept trying to eat their coats and I even caught them chewing on Danny boys toes!

The boys loved these goats.

Our group: Tina, Bonnie, Christy and Cheryl, we were missing two others.
We had a great time and yes if you were wondering, it was exhausting taking three little boys and being pregnant to the pumpkin patch but we survived, what made it worth it was when EB boy on the ride home said, "That was just Great!"

I Changed the kid's names to keep their identity.

Oldest to Youngest kids:
Hawaiian Princess, Dash, Shell, Violet, EB boy, JR, Danny Boy, little sissy, baby D
