First Day of School!

Hawaiian Princess is in the Ninth grade this year, Yicks! She was so excited to start school and start seminary!! She loves seminary and here it's an elective instead of early morning so she has it the last hour of the day and she says that she likes that because then she can end on a good note!

 Dash is in the seventh grade this year and has discovered girls well... he's always discovered girls but this year the girls are discovering him! He's lovin' school and this school is a little diverse and that's what I wanted for my kids is a little diversity. Sloane and I grew up in a diverse area and we just lived in an area where there wasn't much diversity and I originally thought that I would love everyone the same, however I discovered that it's better for everyone to be different and unique and we all are loving it!

 Violet is in the third grade this year and is excited to learn cursive, she has said that I don't know how many times in the last few weeks. She loves her new teacher and loves her class, although they are all dying in this really old school with the heat wave and there is no air conditioning in the building, poor kids!

 EB has started Kindergarten and is loving it! He even gets to take the bus which he loves! He told me that his teacher gave him a sucker the first day then it was followed by a, "I just love her!" He's so cute!

 JR started preschool today and loved it, but was very tired and was the first to bed. I think it's harder on theses little ones, esp. when they have a hard time understanding why their little bodies are so tired. He was grumpy to everyone and threw a fit, hopefully it will go better tomorrow!

Last but not least, Shell is in the fifth grade this year. I cant' believe my baby will be eleven this year, it's crazy to think about, hormones ect. She is loving school, she has a boy teacher for the first time this year but he's really nice and she likes him. I have to say one really great thing that Shell does and is consistent with since she started school is that she does her homework with out being asked and gets it done right when she gets home!
