This has been one of the funnest Halloween's ever! Shell and Violet, got to go by themselves with their friends trick or treating, they thought that was too fun and they got more candy than if they went with us, not that they need anymore! So me and our cute three boys went trick or treating and we went with our neighbors, they thought that was fun! I had so much fun with these little guys and they lasted two hours of going from house to house, I was amazed that they lasted that long! It was so cute watching Danny boy as little as he is go from house to house with his bucket in hand and saying "Thank you!" everytime they put a candy in his bucket. It was fun not having to worry about the older kids, they had fun doing their own thing. Hawaiian princess and Dash had fun going to their friends houses to do a little Halloween partying. I took a picture of the Stones house that in our ward, Bro. Stone was the creapy looking guy on stilts with the flaming pumpkins, it was actually really neat looking, I want to know how he kept them on fire without them burning through? They were real pumpkins and it smelled like cooking pumpkins, the boys liked that house!
JR had the best birthday too, he had six visitor's bring him treats for his birthday, One from the primary pres. then his primary teacher brought him one, both neighbors brought him something, then our home teachers have a tradition with the kids that they bring a half gallon of their favorite ice cream too them, we live by truly thoughtful people and we are so grateful for such wonderful neighbors and friends, even EB's primary teacher brought him something yesterday for Halloween and Danny boys nursery teacher brought him something too!

After all the festivities from trick or treating ect. the Hawaiian Princess and I went by ourselves to the Haunted house called Dr. Slaughters house. Sloane took the other kids on Friday and they loved it! So we just had to check it out before it was all over with. They do this every year and all the proceeds go toward the DARE program which is a program to keep kids off of drugs. It's amazing because I haven't seen this DARE program since we lived in Tacoma, WA and Sloane's dad when he was alive was a Tacoma Police officer and was very involved in the DARE program, so we just had to go support it. It was AMAZING, this was by far the best haunted house I have ever been too! It was a big store turned into a haunted house, with different rooms, a spider room, ghost town and it felt like a real ghost town, cemetery, a spooky clown room, a bridge with the walls spinning around you and it made you feel like you were tipping over, an illusion room where there was plexy glass on both sides of you with a black strip of floor that you walked on and it felt like you could fall thirty feet on either side of you but you couldn't because they had that plexy glass on the floor it was neat, they had a spider room with all these spiders everywhere ( I didn't like that room) where a big spider jumped out at you, they had a mask room where all you could see where those long white face masks and they stood on either side of you in a line and then one would jump out at you, then they had a chainsaw room ( I didn't like that room either, too scary) they chased you with the chain saw, then they had half of a bus where the bus driver was a spooky dude, then they had what I called the toilet paper room it was a room with hundereds of thousands of stripes of white fabric hanging from the ceiling and it was hard to find your way out, then they had a room where it looked like mummies were frozen in the walls, then they had a room were people were in jail and screaming, it seemed like it went on and on forever, but it was so elaborate and amazing! So basically they took everything that most people are afraid of and put it into one Haunted House. At the beginning while you waited in line they had this room that looked like an old spooky castle with a big stage with professional dancers from around the area dancing to Thriller and it was Awesome! Then it was 40 min. of walking through the most creative haunted house ever!! It was a fun night and Hawaiian Princess and I had a blast, I was laughing through the whole thing as the Hawaiian princess was pulling me and practically pushing the people in front of us trying to get through because she was wanting to hurry (supposedly she was not scared though, RIGHT!)
Next year they will be moving to a bigger location and I will be going next year too, it was that good!!
