City Creek Mall

It looks blank but just push play!
The Acapella group Eclipse
A couple of weeks ago Sloane took me on a weekend get away! He had to still work, poor thing, I felt bad for him, he works so hard for our family and I just love him for that! He told me that he wanted to take me away so that I/ we can survive him being gone a lot because of his busy season and I am so glad because I was feeling down and out needing to get away with all the sicknesses in our home this year especially me being pregnant I alone have had the stomach flu this year twice, yuck! I seem to get almost what everyone was getting and It was in the worst part of pregnancy, so it was a much needed get away, I love you honey thank you for this! We didn't know this but we happened to go to Salt Lake City the same day that the City Creek Mall had it's grand opening! We went to Cheesecake Factory right there at the mall, that was fun! Then we went to the mall for a little while until it closed. Then we went back to the hotel and lounged and fell asleep and woke up at midnight to go watch Hunger Games. Then we got up and drove to East Salt Lake were Sloane had to work and I went to American Fork to pick up our Massive tent that can fit the whole neighborhood(not really but it's huge). Then I went and spent the rest of the afternoon with my best friend from High School, Brigitte. Then picked up Sloane and went back to the mall for a little while then went to P.F. Changs for dinner and then went back to the hotel and went to sleep. Sloane woke up early and his business partner came and picked him up and I slept in and then woke up late(which I never get to do, but felt good!) Got dressed and went to the mall for three hours. I did the Valet parking because it's such a great deal...$5. for three hours and with my pregnant brain I don't have to remember or not remember where I parked in that massive underground parking lot, totally worth it! Then went to Bountiful and visited with my aunt's and uncles until it was time to go pick up Sloane and had dinner and of course whenever we are in Bountiful, Sloane wants a concrete (that's the name of the custard Ice cream that he loves) it's a hole in the wall place but the burgers are awesome and the custard Ice cream is amazing!! Then Sunday went to church with my aunt and uncle and it was an amazing fast and testimony meeting (cried through the whole thing) then went back and had dinner with my cousin and his wife who just got sealed in the temple in Dec. which is so exciting and Aunt Nee nee and Uncle Richard. Speaking of my uncle Richard, he's been working on writing a book for the past ten years. He says he was compelled to write it and now it's finally finished and he gave a copy to his neighbor who happens to work for Deseret book as a transcript reader, Ardeth Kapp Do you remember her? Former General Young Women Pres. and author of 14 Deseret books. Well anyways, she read his book and LOVED it! So You may be seeing his book out on the shelf soon!
Had a great time!
