What does your family do on a snow day? We...got an automated call from the district at 5am telling us that there is no school, slept in while Sloane and Dash went around the neighborhood shoveling snow on driveways and sidewalks. Layed around all morning long watching all the snow fall 8inches or so. Layed the baby down for a nap, got people all dressed and bundled up to go outside, Watched them all play from the inside of my warm comfy house (while I wrapped christmas presents). Watched my honey play with the kids all afternoon outside, making forts ect. (what a great dad). Waited for my two little boys to get cold and come in but they never did, they lasted until everyone came in, they had so much fun! Made hot cocoa with marshmellows and whipped cream,Yummy! Made a banana cream dessert for Sloane, gave three of my boys hair cuts, had a simple dinner (sandwiches), Watched a movie as a family, Perfect day, I wish every snow day could be like this!:)

ReplyDeleteThat is the best snow fort I've seen in a long time. Can your family come over on the next snow day?
