Tuesday morning at 5:00 am Sloane kissed me good bye, he was off to go to Las Vegas for work to take graduation orders at some high schools there with his co-workers and he just got back at 3:00 am this morning. Tuesday morning at 6:45 am I was woken up to Blood Curdling screams and Dash running in my room to tell me that Shell was bleeding really bad (my first thought was that she started her period, that's how I reacted when I started at age 11!) So I ran downstairs to find Shell naked just taken a shower and glass all over the bathroom floor and inside the bathtub, there was also blood on the floor and on the cabinets where she touched. I was calm, amazingly calm, I surprised myself at how calm I was, since I was so calm I was able to hear the spirit tell me what to do next and so on, plus she was so traumatized by the fact that she just opened the glass shower door to get out of the shower and then it completely shattered all over her, I needed to calm her down. First I noticed that she had little tiny pieces of glass all over her body, there was blood coming from her feet and hands so I made her step on a towel and we wrapped her feet up and I had her go upstairs to the other bathroom and retake a shower to get all the tiny pieces of glass off her. When I was taking Shell upstairs to retake her shower, I saw Violet hanging her head inside the toilet, throwing up, GREAT!! I was imagining gouges of glass in the bottoms of her feet that I would have to pick out so when she got out of the other shower, to my surprise she didn't even have a scratch on the bottoms of her feet, there were only small cuts on the tops of her feet and hands! It was a blessing since Sloane just left out of town! Murphy's law: Whenever your husband goes out of town something ALWAYS, or "somethings" ( Remember Violet was sick too), always happens to stretch you to your limits!
Some things that we learned from this experience...That I knew how to take care of situations like that because I was able to stay calm, we have a shop vac (thank goodness) and so I vacuumed all of that glass up, cleaned the floor, took the other glass door off (because we were paranoid about that one breaking too) and then wiped everything down because there were tiny pieces of glass all over the floor and inside the tub even after I vacuumed it all up. I went to homedepot and got a rod for a shower curtain, got a shower curtain and rings to hang it up and then came home to hang it up! It was amazing how much help I received both spiritually and physically by neighbors who I just LOVE, my neighbor took me to the post office later that day to mail my Christmas packages off and then took me to Jamba Juice for a smoothy and then later sent her husband and two guys from our ward to come help take up the other door and shop vac because they were both super heavy! Thank you everyone for caring and helping, I feel safer living here knowing that when Sloane leaves town, me and my family will be well taken care of, both emotionally and physically!
